About HPUBS Shimla
Himachal Pradesh University Business School, Shimla popularly known as HPUBS was established in the year 1971. The institute is a part of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU). HPU is a government university and is accredited with a grade ‘A’ by NAAC. The HPUBS was earlier known as the Institute of Management Studies. The HPUBS offers 2 levels of courses which include postgraduate and doctoral level programmes. HPUBS PG course includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA). The HPUBS also offers a PhD programme at the doctoral level.
HPUBS admissions to its MBA course are based on the Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test (HPU MAT). To seek admission to the HPUBS PhD programme, candidates who have qualified UGC-JRF will be eligible. HPUBS facilities include a separate hostel for girls and boys, a cafeteria, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a well-equipped computer lab and much more. Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test 2022 will take place on 26.05.2022. This is tentative date and might change based on any further announcement so you will have to keep yourself updated. The eligibility criteria for the HPU MAT is that a candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university with atleast 50% marks (45% for SC ST).

Candidates will be ranked in the list on the basis of their scores in the written test.
Final selection of the student is based on the group discussion and personal interview. By following below steps students can download HPU MAT 2019 Result:
