HCN Dehradun Admission

Himalayan College of Nursing (HCN) Dehradun is one of the prestigious colleges that have an excellent track record of high-quality nursing education. The college, which has the approval of the Indian Nursing Council, offers several undergraduate and postgraduate courses in nursing. HCN Dehradun has an admission process aimed at enrolling the best candidates for its diverse nursing courses.

The admission process at HCN Dehradun is generally in sync with the academic year, which typically starts in August-September. Although exact dates vary from year to year, the application process usually begins a few months before the start of the academic session. The college holds its own entrance test for certain courses, whereas for others, it takes into account the performance of the candidates in qualifying tests.

For Undergraduate courses such as B.Sc Nursing, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their qualifying examination (10+2) performance according to the eligibility requirements set by the Indian Nursing Council. Shortlisted candidates are thereafter notified about the timing of the entrance examination carried out by the college.
