Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun was established in the year 1996. The institute is also known as HIMS Dehradun. HIMS Dehradun is the first medical college of the state. The institute has internationally recognised pedagogy and the institute is a constituent college of Swami Rama Himalayan University. The labs of Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun are accredited by NABL. HIMS Dehradun offers certificate, fellowship, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to the students.

Decent medical college in Dehradun

All the necessary instruments are available in labs. There is no WiFi on campus and the campus is decently well maintained. The food provided is pretty good and the hostel isn't that great. The library is excellent.
Academically very good while hard to afford.

HIMS,dehradun-.
The fees of this college is about 68 lakh for full course it has 165 seats ,this college is approved by NMC and the admission in this college is through NEET ,this college has well equipped labs and experienced teacher , I don't fine any negative thing about this college ,from my view ,it is good for you .

DY Patil -it was established in 1984 ,the total seats are 3814 ,total faculties are 68 ,they are highly qualified ,the infrastructure is awesome ,overall it is a good college ,and yes it also a private college .
