The College Library plays a vital role in providing and nurturing young minds. It aids in learning and teaching activities. The aim of the library is to serve the needs of students. The library is a source of knowledge and wisdom The library has a vast collection of books. Besides, there are several national and international journals, periodicals, project reports, case studies, educational CDs, videos, etc. A regular and constant approach is maintained towards the enrichment of the collection of books from time to time.

The College Computer labs are well equipped with the latest Hardware and Software. It provides all the possible facilities for the students to make World Wide changes in Information Technology. Computer labs are connected with a high-speed LAN. Wi-Fi in the institute allows all students to access a range of services across our entire campus.

The College has a canteen facility for staff and students. This is a place to rejuvenate tired spirits through lip-smacking delicacies. The cafeteria provides much-needed appetizer breaks in a cozy atmosphere. Healthy and hygienic meals are available in the institute cafeteria. The cafeteria services are available round the clock at highly reasonable prices with a smile. There is a Sports Department, functioning to ensure the needs of sports activities of all the Institutes on our educational campus. HIT has excellent recreational facilities for sports including Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, and Hockey. The College participates in most of the games, sports, and tournaments conducted by the University and has participated in many tournaments inside and outside Dehradun and has won many prizes. The students are guided by professional coaches.

The College has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The Institute provides medical facilities to all its students. HIT has tie-ups with the Hospitals of Dehradun for consultations, treatment & emergencies.
