Hindu College of Pharmacy, Guntur, was established in the year 1999. It is one of the prime institutions in pharmaceutical education not only in Andhra Pradesh, India, but in the whole state. This affiliated college is spread over a 3-acre campus and is situated at Amaravathi Road and recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India. The institute runs 5 degrees in twelve courses, offering all type of specializations in pharmacy. Hindu College of Pharmacy has a great environment; it has a total student intake of 664 with a faculty strength of 48. Hindu College of Pharmacy offers various programs in the filed of pharmacy ranging from bachelor's, master's, and doctorate to diploma courses. The institute offers a 100-seat B.Pharma flagship course, a core program in pharmaceutical studies, and specialized M.Pharma programs in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Analysis, each one with an intake of 15 students. The college also has Ph.D. programs in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis for those who are desirous of taking their research to the doctorate level. The college is also offering a D.Pharma course for 60 seats. The students aspiring to do their pharmacy at the diploma level can study this course here at this college. The college also has the Pharm.D and the Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programs. The latter has ten seats.

For the B.Pharma course, admission mainly comes down to the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, or AP EAMCET.
