Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology (HCET), is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute, founded in 1997 of Hitkarini Group of Institutions Jabalpur (M.P.). Located on a large land of 10.34 acres, HCET has many fields of engineering and management courses. The college is linked to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and recognises by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The HCET has a total student enrolment of 514 and has a faculty that strengths 69 which occasion the college to factor in all the requirements that promote success in the learning process and personal development.
Among those Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology has developed a great number of facilities aimed at improving the learning process and environment of the students. The college library acts as an information centre which has vast repository of technical and Non-Technical books, National/international periodicals and e-resources etc. Students can get the AICTE-INDEST Consortium E-Journals whereby they can find required information for research work and projects. It has computerised laboratories, well decorated class rooms with all modern facilities and effective computer and internet facilities. As for the accommodation, HCET provide sponsored hostel for boys & girls separately with comfortable living environment for the studies. The college also has facilities to support sporting activities, canteen, and an open-air amphitheatre for other co-curricula activities. Further, the HCET runs ten buses for transporting staffs and students from different areas of Surat city.
HCET offers 11 courses in total to students, and its main concentration is on engineering course at the undergraduate level. At present the college offers seven full Digital Courses offering, out of which six are B.Tech courses and one is MBA. The B.Tech programmes offered across the disciplines are Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The aggregate of the approved intake of these courses is 514 seats, which show that the college has aimed at delivering quality education to a large number of intending engineers.
The entry pathway at HCET is highly fair and based on merit. Considering B.Tech programmes, the general admission criteria include the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) score card and PCM percentage of the candidate in 12th standard. My college has a decent infractions.With everything necessary for a student like library,well equipped computer labs , pratical labs.there is hall for social activities.they have hall for seminar.the overall infrastructure is good.
