HKL College of Education, Ferozepur, is a private co-educational college devoted to the education of teachers of the future. The NCTE-approved college provides two professional education courses.
Admission procedure of HKL College of Education is mainly on the merit basis, carried out on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam. Admission for some courses may also be decided on the terms devised by the federation of Punjab self-finance colleges of education, or any other respective organization established for self-financing colleges.
Eligibility criteria for admission differ for each course. For B.Ed, the candidate needs to pass bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized institution. For D.El.Ed, the candidate needs to pass 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Application Process
Process of application to HKL College of Education, Ferozepur, is usually the following:

Degree wise Admission Procedure
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The sanctioned strength is 100 students annually for the B.Ed course by HKL College of Education. The admissions to the course are merit-based, taking into account the marks secured in the entrance test. The college may hold an entrance test or pursue any other procedure of selection in accordance with the state government policy, UT Administration, and the university. The course is completed in two years and offers complete education in the theory and practice of teaching.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
HKL College of Education admits 50 students for its D.El.Ed course per session. Admission to the course is also merit-based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). The college can hold an entrance test or adopt any other method of selection as the state government or UT administration may direct. This two-year course is specialized in training teachers for elementary education.
