Holy Family Institute of Nursing Education, established in 2005, is one of the well-known nursing educational institutions in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a co-educational institute affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). This compact 2.053-acre campus provides ample space for learning for aspiring nurses. The enrolment of the institute includes 244 students with 22 faculty members, which ensures an excellent student-to-teacher ratio for personalised attention and quality education.

Various facilities will aid in enhancing the learning process and overall development of students. These would include a library, well-equipped to provide an appropriate resourceful location with its extensive collection of books, reference materials, nursing journals, and e-books. The campus has well-furnished, modern laboratories for practical training, an auditorium for events and seminars, and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Students have a fully-fledged IT infrastructure, sports facilities, and a cafeteria available. The Holy Family Institute of Nursing Education provides transportation via two buses to aid the commuting of students and staff. One of the unique features includes having medical facilities with first aid services to give the students experience in handling real situations in healthcare.

The Holy Family Institute of Nursing Education offers three full-time nurse programmes that cater to different levels of nursing education. The flagship course of the institute is the four-year B.Sc. Nursing course. It also offers two-year Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and a three-year GNM course. These programs ensure that students acquire thorough theoretical knowledge and practical skills to succeed in the nursing profession.

Yes, you can get admission in Bsc nursing even without NEET.

This is because,

NEET is not mandatory for bsc nursing.

It's just that nursing colleges are free to choose  NEET as their entrance examination but as of now only a few nursing colleges like BHU, JIPMER, IPU etc have started accepting NEET for bsc nursing.

Without NEET, you can get admission through other entrance examinations like:-

Anm course is not available in holy family Institute of Nursing and education.Sone courses which are available in this college are:

  • General Nursing Midwifery(GNM) of 3 years

Total fees is Rs 1.54 lakhs

  • Basic B.Sc Nursing of 4 years

Total fees is Rs 3.20 lakhs

  • Post Basic B.Sc Nursing of 2 years

Total fees is Rs 1 lakh

  • Diploma in critical care Nursing of 1 year duration.

If you are eligible  you need to take a written test conducted by the Holy Family Institute of Nursing Education. If you qualify in this test, you have to appear for interview along with required documents.If you get selected, pay the required fees.Candidates must be medically fit to take the course and thus need to  undergo a medical examination conducted at the Holy Family Hospital, Bandra, Mumbai, at their own cost.You must be vaccinated against hepatitis B, chicken pox, typhoid and tetanus.

B.Sc Nursing admission is based on entrance exams held between April-June. The minimum eligibility criterion for pursuing this course is the successful completion of 10+2 level of education in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The average course fee ranges from INR 20,000 to 1.5 Lakhs per year (Varies from college to college).
