Shri Annasaheb Dange Ayurved Medical College, Post Graduate and Research Center in Sangli, was established in the year 1999. The institution is affiliated and sprawls over 13 acres on the campus at Sangli in Maharashtra. The college offers 22 courses at 4 levels of degrees. The total enrolment of the students is 505. The faculty numbering is 48 members.

The university also offers 13 postgraduate courses in MD/MS in different Ayurvedic specialisations. The institute is also doing Ph.D. courses in different Ayurvedic disciplines,.

All the candidates applying for a course in Hon. Shri Annasaheb Dange Ayurved Medical College have to pass an entrance examination. In the case of BAMS admissions, it is NEET conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. In the case of postgraduates, the AIA PGET score is obtained from the Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. Selection will be subject to guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH, Admission Regulating Authority, Mumbai, and State CET Cell Mumbai. Admissions into Ph.D. programs shall be based on the merit of the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the university followed by college-level counselling.
