Shri Annasaheb Dange Ayurved Medical College, Post Graduate and Research Center in Sangli, was established in the year 1999. Hon. Shri Annasaheb Dange College of Ayurved Medical Sciences, Postgraduate and Research Center, Sangli, one of the foremost institutions for teaching Ayurvedic medicine. The college offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in different specializations of Ayurveda. The administration of Hon. Shri Annasaheb Dange Ayurved Medical College is based under the national entrance examination to select the most meritorious students. The conductor of admission rounds generally commences in the months preceding the new academic year, which begins around August-September. For BAMS, NEET scores are taken; for MD, AIAPGET precedes it. For a Ph.D., a different entrance examination is again conducted by the university. 

The admission process for MD, MS programs involves an entrance exam, mainly the AIAPGET exam held twice a year. BAMS require a candidate to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. Those applying for postgraduate must have obtained the BAMS degree or equivalent from a recognized university. The specific eligibility criteria may vary depending on the programs but are guided by the Ministry of AYUSH, Admission Regulation Authority, and State CET Cell Mumbai. The college admits students into BAMS based on NEET scores, and AIAPGET scores are considered for all postgraduate courses. Application Process 

The admission process for the Hon. Shri Annasaheb Dange Ayurveda Medical College is different for different programs:

For BAMS:

1. The candidate must have passed the NEET UG examination.

2. Then, they must seek admission through state-level counseling conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.

3. In the counseling session, the candidate must include the college in his preference list.

4. Once the college is allocated, candidates will be liable to appear at the concerned institution to submit documents along with payment of necessary fees.

 For MD/MS courses

1. Student needs to pass AIAPGET entrance examination

2. Further he/she need to apply and join state counseling round by following procedure which has been devised by the Ministry of AYUSH and the State CET Cell in Mumbai.

3. Candidates in counseling rounds need to choose specializations in the Hon. Shri Annasaheb Dange Ayurveda Medical College.

4. Selected candidates need to finish all admission procedures in the college selected.

For Ph.D.

1. Candidates have to apply for PET conducted by the university.

2. They have to appear for PET on the scheduled date.

3. After scrubbing, the candidate has to undergo counseling conducted by the college.

4. Admission process will be completed after selection. The process includes submission of documents and payment of fees.

The admission process when graduated 

BAMS: 100 seats for this honorable course based on qualifying performance in the NEET UG Entrance Test conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, Rs 11,02,500.

MD/MS: Dange College of Ayurveda has introduced 13 postgraduate courses in various specialties of Ayurveda. There are 37 seats for MD and 17 for MS. Admission is based on valid AIAPGET scores conducted.
