Icon Commerce College, Guwahati, established in 2004,  is an affiliated college situated in city of Guwahati in Assam. This institution is located at Byelane No-3 on Rajgarh Road and has been imparting education for almost two decades of time. Icon Commerce College has 1,189 students and 33 full time faculty members. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The college offers seven different degree courses, intended to address students’ diverse educational and vocational concerns. 

Icon Commerce College has provided various facilities, which would support the learning of its students in a better way. The college has a digital library that can be accessed by students as well as the faculty members The college host a digital library that students and teachers can access. However, the students and lecturers use black-bounded books and there is also a scientific laboratory which is most Significant for those students preferring practical science based courses. 

The college also has a regard to health standards as they provide sports facility for all the students. Many well equipped IT related facilities are available at Icon Commerce College by aiming to serve the sophistication of new age digital world. Seven courses are recognised by this institute, and all of them are of the full-time nature. The list of programmes remains expanded to offer students both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to pursue upon enrollment. In terms of the total aggregate of enrolled students the course offers for all courses is unknown, however, the M.Com programme for instance avails 40 seats. The college programmes provide a rich mix of academic disciplines that range from commerce and management, arts and sciences.

The admission of students in Icon Commerce College differs with the course offered in the college. To get into M.Com., the admission is strictly carried out based on the entrance examination held by the Department of Commerce, Gauhati University. Those students who appeared their names in the eligibility list will have to fill separate application form for the admission in M.Com programme Icon Commerce College.
