Ideal Arts and Science College, Cherpulassery, is an affiliated college set up in 2009 and functioning in Malappuram district of Kerala. Located in a 4 acres land, the institution provides 18 teaching programmes comprising 8 degree courses for total admission of 1,510 students. This institution has a total of 54 members of the faculty to give favourable student to faculty ratio. 

Ideal Arts and Science College aims at providing various facilities in other to improve the situation of students. Some of the facilities include the hostels for males and females for accommodation to those who come from far areas. This has been made possible through provision of a modern gym on the campus whereby students can have body exercises in order to be fit as they study. Well-stocked up with books and other resources serve the purpose of an academic reference center. The playgrounds make students be involved in physical activities and make them promote teamwork among students. There is also arts facility for displaying the different creations of the students The college also important facility of IT tools that provides good technologies for the students.

Practical requirement of all the departments is met through well-equipped laboratories. The college cafeteria is designed in such a way that it presents the students with a place they can take a break. Ideal Arts and Science College admit both undergraduate and postgraduate where students are offered a broad range of programmes of their choice. Some of the options offered are B.Com in C.A & Finance, Co-op, BA in English, Economics & Sociology, BBA in Finance, B.Sc in Maths, Geography & Psychology, Computer Science, Hotel Mgt & Catering Science and BSW. At the postgraduate levels the college offers M.Com Finance, MA  English and MSW. For all offered courses the approved intake is 1,510 students which speaks of the institution’s ability to support the sizeable student population.
