Ideal College of Ayurved, Palghar, is an affiliated institution to engage in the study of Ayurveda. Established in the village of Posheri, Taluka Wada in Maharashtra, Palghar district, this college combines Ayurvedic science and education methodologies of the contemporary world. This college has got approval from the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) and make sure to provide quality education. As of now, Ideal College of Ayurved has a faculty of 15 members which decide the college to give personal attention on their students. 

This college has many facilities favorable to learning in its premises. The college has also well equipped library with wide range of collection of Ayurvedic books & other research documents. For the practical lessons to be conducted, the institution has equipped departments with laboratories to enable students to get practical experience in all areas of Ayurvedic medicineCognisant of the requirements of students from various parts of the country, the college has has hostels for boys and girls respectively. Thus, for the students an actual seeker of an effective balance between work and leisure, the campus provides an access to the sports facilities as well. The college also has a cafeteria; as part of its administration, it provides students and staff with healthy meals. Besides, there is a computer centre for students to get acquainted with the computer and the internet and also there are some internet links which provide valuable information regarding studies. 

At present, Ideal College of Ayurved provides only one main course, that is, the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). This vast course only takes six years and at the end of the programme, the student would have been fully grounded in Ayurveda. The BAMS course is set as a full course which is beneficial for students wishing to focus in their classes.

The Ideal College of Ayurved had their main method of admission being on the basis of the NEET UG which stands for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. These tests are set at the national level to confirm that those who attend the BAMS programme have a strong grounding in the basic sciences and are equipped to handle the learning that is ahead of them.
