Ideal Girls’ College is located in Akampat, Imphal, Manipur and it was established in the year 1970.Now Ideal Girls’ College is one among the well-known educational centres in the Manipur. This affiliated college, with a 7.5 acre area, aim at offering quality education to young women only. The college has been accredited with NAAC which prove the college’s concern in maintaining standard quality education. The college has 156 students in total and faculty members are 53 in number, therefore, the college affords each student a unique experience. Ideal Girls' College provides six undergraduate programmes.

The college demonstrates its dedication to education by offering enough faculty employing the student to faculty ratio of 13:1 and with 53 faculty members. The other courses are B.Voc in Sericulture, Floriculture & Landscaping, Apparel and Fashin Designing and so on.
