IMT Pharmacy College Puri now IMT – National Trg. & Research Academy, was established in 1990, is one of the pioneers in the field of Pharmacy in Odisha state of India. This affiliated college is situated in the beautiful city of Puri and has been learning the future of pharmacy more than three decades. The institute located on 2 acres of land is AICTE and PCI approved to cater the industry standard education for the students. IMT Pharmacy College is a focused college for pharmacy education with students strength of 436 and faculty strength of 23 members.
The IMT Pharmacy College prides in a number of facilities to support its academic programs that are of current production. The library plays a central role of delivering pharmaceutical information to students for their knowledge and reference purposes. The institute provides three full-time courses: Five-year integrated B.Pharma, two-year M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics, and 3 years D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy). The B.Pharma program being the base of pharmaceutical education has an intake capacity of 100 seats. In case of M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics, for those who desire higher specialization, the management has provided 15 seats. Also, D.Pharma, with 60 seats, is offered by the college as an easier way of joining the profession. Overall, the college has the approval to recruit 175 students in all the programs offered in order to boost the pharmaceutical human resource.
The enrollment of the students in IMT Pharmacy College is mostly based on the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).
