Name of the Scholarship	Eligibility	Benefits
Merit-cum- means scholarship for professional and technical courses	· The candidate should have scored at least 50 per cent marks or an equivalent grade in the previous final examinations. · The annual income of the student’s family should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lacs.	· Scholarship fee worth Rs. 20,000 per year. · Maintenance allowance of Rs. 1,000 to hostellers and Rs. 500 to day scholars is given monthly.
National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST students	· The individual should belong to the category of a Scheduled Tribe. · The student should have completed his/her post-graduation and must be taking admission in research programmes. · The family annual income of the student should not be more than Rs. 6 lakhs.	The tuition fee and other non-refundable payments of the student will be reimbursed. The student will be given Rs. 3,000 per year as an expense of books and stationery. Living expenses worth Rs. 2,200 per month is given to the student. One time help of Rs. 45,000 will be given for the purchase of a laptop with its accessories.
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC Students	· The student should belong to the Scheduled Caste category. · The student should have taken admission in a full-time course in any institute that gives this scholarship. · The annual family income of the student should not be more than Rs. 6 lakhs.
Scholarships for Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities	The student should have 40 per cent disability from any of the following diseases · Blindness · Leprosy-cured person · Low Vision · Hearing Impairment · Mental Illness · Intellectual Disability · Locomotor Disability · Cerebral Palsy · Autism Spectrum Disorder · Muscular Dystrophy · Haemophilia · Multiple Sclerosis · Chronic Neurological Conditions · Speech and Language Disability · Specific Learning Disabilities · Thalassemia · Multiple Disabilities including Deaf-Blindness · Sickle Cell Disease · Parkinson’s Disease · Acid Attack Victim · Dwarfism	· The student’s tuition fee and the non-refundable payments will be reimbursed up to Rs. 2 lacs per year. · A one time grant of Rs. 30,000 will be given to the student for purchasing a laptop and its devices, as written above. · Book grant of Rs. 5,00 is given every year. · Special allowances of Rs. 2,000 is given monthly. · Maintenance allowance of Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 1,500 is given to hostellers and day scholars respectively per month.

M.Tech	Candidates must appear for GATE examination for IIIT Pune M.Tech admissions. Non-GATE participants can apply for entrance examination conducted by IIIT Pune and pay application fee of Rs 590 (Rs 295 for SC/ST/PwD).
Ph.D	Candidates must be eligible for IIIT Pune Ph.D admissions. Apply for the admissions through an online application form from the institute's website. Selected candidates will be called by the institute.

The candidate should appear for the MHT CET/JEE Main examination and secure a valid score. Eligible candidates can apply for the B.Tech course by visiting the official website.
The candidate should meet the cutoff prescribed by the institute for admission to the B.Tech course.
The shortlisted candidate should attend the JoSAA/CSAB or the MHT CET counselling and based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination, the candidates will be shortlisted for IIIT Pune admissions.
The final selected candidates will be informed about seat allotment through a registered phone number or email ID.

IIIT Pune M.Tech Admission Process 2025 (Non GATE)

Candidates are required to download the application form from the official website.
Eligible candidates are required to fill out the Google form provided by the institute along with combining all the documents into a single PDF and uploading it in the form.
Candidates have to pay a sum of Rs 590 (Rs 295 for SC/ST/PwD) as the application fee.
Selection of candidates will be done based on written tests and/or Interviews and qualifying the prescribed cutoff. (Note: Both GATE and non-GATE candidates can apply.)
Candidates qualified in written exams and interviews will be informed through email and have to bring documents at the time of admission to the institute.

IIIT Pune M.Tech Admission Process (GATE)

Candidates must take GATE 2025 and secure a valid score before registering in the CCMT portal.
After appearing for the GATE exam, candidates have to register online on the official website of CCMT. Candidates are required to enter personal details, GATE score and other details.
Upon successful registration and payment of the registration fee, the candidates will be able to fill and lock their choices of programmes in the order of their preference from the list of eligible programmes.
Afterwards, Candidates will undergo 3 rounds of counselling: Seat allotment, Seat Acceptance fee (SAF) and online document verification.
Merit for seat allotment will be prepared based on the GATE score of the year filled by the candidate. Candidates are required to clear the cutoff prescribed by the institute.
Once the seats are allotted to the candidates for the respective institute, candidates can verify their documents and confirm their admission.

Candidates are required to fill out the application form through the official website. (GATE candidates are also required to do the same).
Candidates are required to pay Rs 1000 as an application fee for the application form.
The application form along with self-attested documents are required to be sent by speed/registered post to the institute. Also, the same is to be sent in a single PDF via email.
The PhD admission will be based on the GATE score and/or written test and/or interview by the respective departments. (For non-GATE candidates, a written test is conducted).
After the document verification and admission fee payment, the candidate is granted admission.
