Indian Maritime University, Kochi, is one of the six regional campuses of IMU, a Central University established in 2010 under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. IMU Kochi offers courses in the field of maritime studies at the UG and PG levels. IMU Kochi courses include a BSc in Nautical Science, a BBA in Logistics, Retailing, and E-Commerce, MBA in Port and Shipping Management, and an MBA in International Transportation and Logistics Management. IMU Kochi eligibility criteria vary according to the course and programme. IMU Kochi admissions are based on the performance of the candidates in IMUCET for BSc and MBA programmes and CUET for BBA programmes. IMU Kochi also conducts a physical fitness test for the candidates before finalising their admission.
IMU Kochi placement department organises campus interviews, pre-placement talks, industrial visits, and training programmes for the students. IMU Kochi facilities include a Wi-Fi enabled campus, a computer lab, navigational lab, simulator room, smart classrooms, a library, a hostel, a canteen, sports and games, a gym and medical facilities.

IMU Kochi Admissions 2024: Indian Maritime University (IMU) Kochi Campus is one of the six campuses of IMU, a central university established by an Act of Parliament in 2010. IMU Kochi offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. IMU Kochi admissions are based on the scores obtained in the IMU Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) for BSc and MBA programmes and the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for the BBA programme. IMU Kochi Application Procedure
Candidates have to register online for IMU CET through the official website of IMU.
Candidates have to fill in the personal details, academic details, course preferences and upload the required documents such as passport size photograph, signature, Class 10 mark sheet, Class 12 mark sheet, degree certificate (wherever applicable), category certificate (if applicable) and physical fitness certificate (wherever applicable).
Candidates have to pay the IMU CET application fee of Rs. 1000 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 700 for SC/ST candidates through online mode using net banking/credit card/debit card.
Candidates have to download the admit card for IMU CET from the website and take a printout of it.
Candidates have to appear for IMU CET at the allotted exam centre on the scheduled date and time.
Candidates have to check the result of IMU CET on the website and download the rank certificate.
Candidates who qualify for IMU CET have to register for online counselling and fill in their choices of courses and campuses.
Candidates have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 10,000 through online mode.
Candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank, preferences and availability.
Candidates have to download the provisional allotment letter and confirm their acceptance by paying the first semester fee online.
Candidates have to report to the allotted campus with the original documents for verification and completion of admission formalities.
IMU Kochi UG Admissions 2024
IMU Kochi offers B.Sc. in Nautical Science and BBA in Logistics, Retailing and E-Commerce at the undergraduate level. The duration of a B.Sc. is three years and BBA is four years.

College Infrastructure
Indian Maritime University kochi campus is having good facilties and equipments. Well maintained environment, nice hostel rooms. Library facility is good we have many foreign writers book, many great novals.
My overall experience in this college was good
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is fine with few classrooms not fully equipped for good studying environment. The Library and computer lab is fully equipped with good WiFi facility. The mess food is good and hygienic and campus is also neat and clean. Hostel Facility is great with all facilities and amenities.
Great experience but less value for money

Indian Maritime University does not offer Supply chain Management course it offers MBA (Port & Shipping Management), MBA (International Transportation & Logistics Management).The admission in based on merit in IMUCET entrance exam.Candidates from any state can apply for IMUCET provided they must fulfillb the eligibility criteria.For the above mentioned courses a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate and must have 50% aggregate in English in class 10 and class 12.A relaxation of 5% marks in overall aggregate is given for SC/ST category candidates.
