The affiliated college of Indira Gandhi Government Polytechnic College is situated in Chhindwara of Madhya Pradesh, India and was started in 1998. Located right behind the S.P Office in Khapabhat, this is government run college is set in 9.4 acres of campus area. They college is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which authorities various technical education. As an institute of diploma, it has two course offerings to meet these changing needs of the industry and its clients. The college has strength of 5 faculty members to groom the Graphic technicians and managers of the future.

The institute boasts of offering improved learning avenues through a number of learning facilities for students. Currently the Indira Gandhi Government Polytechnic College provides two three-year full-time diploma courses. The institute has an aggregate intake capacity of 96 students spread over both the courses. There are two specialized programs to offer namely; Diploma in Computer Science Engineering and Diploma in Modern Office Management, which are approved to accept 48 students each. These courses are offered with a view to inculcate certain specific professional skills in the students so as to prepare them for the existing complex working environment.
