The Indo German Tool Room is a government institute located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. IGTR Indore is one of the 4 tool rooms established by the Government of India with the assistance of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. Also known as MSME Technology Centre, IGTR Indore was established in the year 1995 and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.
IGTR Indore offers various short term, mid term and long term training courses. The long term diploma courses include Diploma in Mechatronics, Diploma in Computer Science, Advanced Diploma in Tool and Die Making, Diploma in Vocation (D.Voc)-Production Technology. The long term certificate courses include Machinist Trade, Fitter Trade, Turner Trade, Machine Grinder, Welding Trade, Automobile Assembly and Service.
IGTR Indore also offers a number of medium and short term courses the duration of which lies between 2 weeks to 18 months. The courses offered by IGTR Indore are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). Candidates can apply for admission at IGTR Indore provided they meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. The admission process of IGTR Indore depends on the merit of the applicant in a written examination followed by a personal interview. IGTR Indore has its own placement cell and state of the art infrastructure.

The Indo German Tool Room will release an advertisement in the newspapers and its official website informing aspirants about the beginning of the admission process.
The candidates have the option of either through the online or the offline mode.

The next step is submitting the application fee of Rs 100.
The application fee has to be deposited in the account mentioned in the notification.
