The Indo Global College of Education was set up in 2003 and is situated at Abhipur, Punjab. It is a college affiliated to the reputed Universty is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is imparting quality education in the teaching profession. Located in a beautiful 70 acre land, the institute provides the right atmosphere within and outside the class for learning more. The college had a total student intake of 148 and faculty of 9 resulting in a reasonable student faculty ratio that ensures the children get enough attention from their teachers.

Indo Global College of Education offers numerous facilities to facilitate the college education to the students which are of modern touch. For convenience, there are hostels within the campus and all the male and female students can obtain commodious and secure hostels if they wish to do so. Since we are busy constructing hostels, they have bigger spacious rooms well ventilated with power supply throughout the 24 hours power supply, and they are provided with 4 good meals a day. The college also pays great attention to sports and comes up with many events in order to achieve its objectives for the students’ development. Others are parking space and facilities, transport services to link other nearby towns, god technological laboratory and a wired campus to internet.

Currently, Indo Global College of Education has only one examine and that is the Bachelor of Education – B.ED programme which is a degree level course. This two-year course is designed for an approved intake of one hundred seats to accommodate teachers–to-be. The college has only one specialised programme, therefore the efforts towards providing quality teacher education are well directed. Although the exact number of graduates of the college cannot be determined, the college’s commitment in producing qualified educators is evident through the diligent training on B.Ed programme.

At Indo Global College of Education admission process carried based on scores achieved in the qualification exam and/or entrance exam. Admission process in this college is in compliance with admission rules and regulation of the state government, U.T. Administration and the university with which the college is affiliated.
