Indus Institute of Management Studies, Ahmedabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Indus Institute of Management Studies was established in the year 2015 and is spread over the area situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The co-educational institute offers various programs in the field of management at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. IIMS is one of the main constituent colleges under Indus University that provides a very dynamic learning environment to the students. With the faculty strength of 10, this institute offers 5 courses in 4 degree programs. Programmers: MBA, Integrated MBA, BBA, Ph.D. in Management, etc. The various aspirations related to careers in Business and Management fields are also being looked after.

The infrastructure at IIMS is well-equipped with modern facilities to enrich the learning experience of the student community. Boys' and girls' hostels are separately available, even including international students. These hostels have well-furnished rooms with 24x7 power supply, Wi-Fi connectivity, and amenities like a television, water purifiers, and coolers. Adding to these facilities is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art gym for the fitness enthusiasts. A 120 KWh capacity solar power system adorns this campus, very much at par with the sustainable practices evolved by it. The library is spread over an area of more than 600 square meters with a huge collection of books numbering over 26,000 and subscribing to more than 250 national and international journals. 

It also offers electronic resources and follows the Dewey Decimal Classification System, which provides easy access to materials. In total, IIMS offers 5 courses, and all of them are full-time programs: MBA, Integrated MBA, BBA, BBA-MBA Integrated, and Ph.D. in Management. 

The mode of admission to the programs in IIMS is different. The MBA program requires candidates to be graduates with valid scores in CAT/MAT/CMAT or even an Indus-MAT score. Selection is finalized through a personal interview. For Integrated MBA and BBA-MBA Integrated, preference is given to students having valid UGAT scores, followed by a personal interview. For the BBA program, eligible candidates have to approach the Department of Management with supporting documents and appear for a personal interview. IIMS accepts scores of various national-level entrance exams, which increase the opportunity for the aspiring student.
