INS VALSURA, Jamnagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

INS Valsura is an institute of the navy established in 1948 in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Being an affiliate college, it is approved by AICTE and is one of the most prominent centers for technical education within the Indian Navy. Since there is a relation between the accomplishment of the future generation of naval technology and expertise, the institute has all-around development facilities for its students.

This institute is well-equipped with the following faculties for all-around development of students. There is a well-stocked library, which acts like an information centre with adequate technical literature for learning purposes. Many state-of-the-art laboratories provide the students hands-on experience in implementing theoretical concepts in practical assignments. The IT infrastructure on campus is very robust, hence the students remain always connected and updated with the latest digital tools. INS Valsura has a medical facility with first-aid services in place to ensure health and well-being of the community. The institution has provided smooth accommodation in the form of a boys' hostel, forming a good environment for focused learning and camaraderie.

INS Valsura provides a total number of six full-time courses: four diploma programs and two advanced diploma programs. These courses will provide the students with the requisite technical knowledge and skills to be able to perform at the rating level of a technical rating in the naval forces.

Courses, therefore, will range from ensuring an all-rounded technical qualification as standard for all the navy's sets of requirements. Thus, the selection process has to be based on merit and standards of physical fitness typical of naval recruitments.
