IHM Meerut Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college hostel offers clean and comfortable living conditions in an environment-friendly atmosphere. Every student in the room is provided with a single bed, study table, chair, and a cupboard, running hot & cold water, filtered cold drinking water, generator, inverter, and incoming telephone call facilities are also available. It is mandatory for all first-year male students to stay in the hostel. (except those whose parents reside in Meerut) to stay in the hostel for the entire duration of the study. free transportation from the hostel to the institute is provided. All hostellers need to be a member of the mess in the hostel. First-year students will be provided double/triple occupancy rooms only. Payment of hostel fees may be remitted by a separate demand draft in favor of IHM Meerut, payable at Meerut.

With a concern for a safer location for girls, the girls’ hostel is located downtown and free transportation from the hostel to the institute is provided. The college is large enough to accommodate 250 persons at a time. Ventilation is designed to meet extreme climatic conditions. Well laid out with stainless steel tables to meet international standards. The cafeteria serves cold drinking water filtered with the latest RO technique & maintains hygienic conditions for cooking & serving food.

The college has a Housekeeping lab that is equipped with the most modern equipment and guest supplies, chemicals, abrasives, linen, etc. required for accommodation upkeep and other related jobs.

The college has well-equipped computer labs at different campuses, where students are taught the use of the latest information technologies in day-to-day management. “One student one computer” is the norm. The lab is in a multi-user environment, LAN, working on Windows. The students are extensively exposed to the use of standard software packages and their utilization in management problem-solving.

The college students have access to a large number of books, resource materials, and magazines. The institute maintains an f of books, periodicals, and journals (both Indian & International). Various audio-visual aids are used for educational programs as well as made available to industry members at different campuses.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a separate hall ‘Olympic’ with table tennis tables that offers ideal conditions for a game of table tennis. Many other indoor games like carom, chess, etc. are provided for students. Badminton courts are enclosed from all four sides and suitable to play in most weather conditions. Basketball courts are an ideal place for a game and to develop teamwork and healthy.

The college has a fleet of buses and for road safety reasons, it is compulsory for all-day boarders to avail themselves of institute transportation. As riding two-wheelers on the highway is very risky and hazardous, students are not allowed to attend college on two-wheelers.

The college has a Healthy mind needs a healthy body and this requirement is met by the ‘Bodyline’ gym fitted with the latest equipment for building & toning muscles & maintaining good health.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.
