IICMR, or the Institute of Industrial and Computer Management and Research, was established in the year 2002 at Pune, Maharashtra. Located in Pune, Maharashtra, this is an affiliated college accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, which imparts specialised postgraduate programmes in management and computer applications. It has managed to make a place for itself in the field of professional education within its compact 0.8-acre campus. The institute boasts of a diversified student base of 545 enrolments with an almost balanced sex ratio of 49% male and 51% female students. With 28 dedicated faculty spread across two postgraduate degree programs, IICMR, Pune, works relentlessly towards developing leaders of tomorrow in business and technology.

The institute has four well-equipped computer labs, which accommodate more than 60 students at a time. IICMR has a well-stocked library system with two departmental libraries, automated by Auto-lib software. IICMR Pune has two full-time postgraduate programs: Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications. Both programs have an approved intake of 120 seats each, thereby totaling 240 seats for the two courses.

The admission process of the IICMR Pune is aimed at filtering candidates with the highest potential for making it into the programs. In order to be eligible for admission into the MBA program, applicants shall possess a valid score in the recognized entrance examinations such as MH-CET, CAT, or C-MAT. Group discussion and personal interview are also part of the selection process. This helps the institute assess a candidate on all grounds. The admission to the MCA course is done by the entrance examination called MAH-MCA-CET. IICMR, Pune accepts a wide array of entrance tests, such as CAT, CMAT, MAH MCA CET, and MAHA CET, definitely giving flexibility to the upcoming students.
