The IOM Chandigarh placement cell prepares the students for the placement process. For this, the IOM Chandigarh placement cell also organises various programmes and activities for students and staff like career counselling, skill enhancement training, personality grooming, soft skill training and others.

For college placements, the placement cell invites various companies to participate in the Institute of Management Chandigarh placement drive. The company visits the Institute of Management Chandigarh and conducts the placement process. The company then shares the offer letter with the selected candidates after which they have to join on the date mentioned in the offer letter.
