Of this, the Institute of Technology and Science, Gariaband (ITS Gariaband) is a co-educational institution, was established in 2006. The institute situated at Gariaband Chhattisgarh is affiliated with Pt Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur. In terms of programs offered, ITS Gariaband yarnds its academic services across all disciplines in education, science, arts, and commerce stream. NCTE recognises the institute and NAAC also accredit the institute from the centreQA from National Council of Teacher Education. The ITS Gariaband is located in a campus area of 0.766 acres; the college has total intake capacity of 340 students and it has a total faculty of 30 teachers. Currently, the institute teaches 8 courses offered under 7 different degrees offering specializations in education, computer applications and general undergraduate programs. It currently offers diploma offerings 2 and 5 undergraduate programs and 1 postgraduate program. The full – time undergraduate courses include B. Ed, B. A, B. Com., B.C.A, and B. Sc. For those students who dream of taking the diploma courses the institute offers programs that include Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed) as well as Diploma in Computer Application. In the postgraduate level, its Gariaband offers one year Post Graduate Diploma Computer Application (PGDCA). The total approved intake for all the courses sum up to 515 seat, which shows the institute’s potential of enrolling a large number of the aspiring students. 

Here at ITS Gariaband the admission process of the course is efficient and conducted on the merit basis. For the D.El.Ed program, the admission follows marks of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination under the following government rules and regulations of the state. In other courses, the institute adopts merit system where sound performers are considered based on their performance in the previous qualifying examinations.
