IIBAT or International Institute of Biotechnology and Toxicology is a self financed institute that was established at Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu in 1978. This co-educational institution situated in Shanmuga Nagar, Padappai is noted to pioneer biotechnology and toxicology research for the last 40 years. IIBAT also provides many focused doctoral courses for those learners interested in developing their expertise in some of the most urgent scientific disciplines. These positions are evident from the calendar of courses offered by the institute in various disciplines within biotechnology as well as related sciences.
The IIBAT has many infrastructure facilities that are well suited for complicated researches and learning methods. The institute has well-equipped laboratory amenities as it aims to give practical experience for the students depending on their specific courses. To become a toxicologist, you can take bachelor's degree in either chemistry, biology, biotechnology or microbiology. After completing this course, you should obtain master's degree in toxicology.
