72 MonthsPh.D. program in English shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
SavitribaiPhule Pune University (SPPU) offers a Ph.D. with a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years duration.
Aspirants must have an aggregate of 55% marks in their Master’s degree (5% relaxation for reserved/PwD). Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of PET examination scores for Ph.D. admissions.
The candidate is exempted from the entrance exam if qualified in UGC-NET or M.Phil degree holders from SPPU.
