Islampur College of Education, established in 2014, is a co-ed institution located in Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal. This affiliated college has approval from the National Council for Teacher Education, which speaks for its zeal in imparting quality teacher education. This 0.75-acre small campus hosts a college with two special courses in the area of education, having a total enrollment of students as 100. The institute has a faculty strength of 17 dedicated teachers to ensure a student-to-teacher ratio that provides adequate attention and quality teaching to its students.

Amongst many facilities available, this college has different facilities helping in the all-round nurturing of learners. There is a library with 7,000 books and a spacious well-furnished reading room with a sitting capacity of 100 students. Islampur College of Education mainly prepares teachers with specializations. It has two full-time courses: B.Ed and D.El. Ed. The duration is two years. Admission into Islampur College of Education will be made strictly based on merit in terms of marks in qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination as per the policy framed by the State Government of West Bengal and the affiliated university.
