Jagadguru Panchacharya College of Education, Gadag started in the year 1980 was one of the reputed teacher training college in Gadag Karnataka. Being a co-educational institute, this institute is encompassed in an area of 2.75 acres which has the vision to produce educators of tomorrow. A NAAC accredited institution, approved by NCTE and an affiliated college with seventy percent of its seats filled through the Common Entrance Test. The college has a total of 131 Students and 9 faculties wherein the college focuses on dedicated teaching education to the students.

Jagadguru Panchacharya College of Education has made several provisions in as far as the infrastructure that is available to the learners is concerned as a way of improving their learning ability. In other ways, it is a lifesaver since it is a center of learning and a facility that offers key resources which are central to learning. Departmental laboratories equipped with instru-ments and equipment facilitate the practical learning process to students after the implementation of the theoretical knowledge. Besides, the campus has a cafeteria for both staff and students to take their meals as they engage in fellowship. 

Jagadguru Panchacharya College of Education offers a focused curriculum with one primary course: the academic programme that does exist is called Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This is a two-year full course that should equip the students with all the knowledge and skills they needs to teach effectively.

Like all colleges under the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university, the management of Jagadguru Panchacharya College of Education follows the merit system for admission. As mentioned in the examination qualification, students will be tested on the basis of the results of entrance exam or any other procedure as decided by the authorities.
