The Jagrani Devi College of Education Darrabhata was started in 2009 schooling is available for both the males and females and this school is situated in the Janjgir Champa District of Chhattisgarh. This affiliated college is recognized from National Council for Teacher Education NCTE to establish the readiness of the college in offering quality services in training teachers. Located in a campus measuring 2 acres the college currently offers two main professional courses in education with a total over head capacity of 75 students. There are thirteen dedicated faculties to support and educate the students of this institute and the ratio of the students/supporting faculty is quite reasonable to provide personal attention to every student along with the quality education. 

It has produced quite a number of amenities that seek to facilitate the learning environment in the college. Jagrani Devi College of Education offers two full-time courses: B.ED. and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). There are about hundred seats available in two years B.Ed program which is approved and an unknown number of D.El.Ed program which is also of two year duration. 

The procedure of admission in Jagrani Devi College of Education differs for its two courses. For the B.ED course, there is a written examination called Pre B.ED organised by Chhattisgarh Professional Examinations Board (CGVYAPAM).
