Jai Bajrang Mahila PG College, Jaunpur, was established in the year 2005 is an affiliated college situated in Mungra Badshahpur, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. This women’s institution covered an area of five acres; the centre has 8 courses across 6 degree programmes. It is an NCTE approved college with total enrolment of 873 students and 21 committed faculty members. Despite the existing ranking data and comparison not being available on the same, the college’s strong educational focus for women in different fields make the institution pertinent in the area. 

Jai Bajrang Mahila PG College has excellent facilities aiming at improving the learning facility of the students in college. A well equipped Library as we know is a store house of knowledge needed for academic works. It also preserves departmental laboratories so students have realistic, down-to-earth training. Jai Bajrang Mahila PG College has a plethora of courses it offers to her students to ensure that they can find a course they can be interested in. The institution offers 8 full time programmes for the students which are both the undergraduate and post graduate level. Undergraduate degrees include the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Science though, in many universities the degrees are referred to as B.A and B.Sc respectively. The postgraduate courses are offered in the form of Course Work M. A in Hindi, Home Science and Sociology. The college provides B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed for those students who want to become teachers or are already teaching. 

The admission procedure at Jai Bajrang Mahila PG College is quite different depending on the course plan chosen. For the B.Ed programme, merit only factor used is marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the policy framed by the state government and university. Likewise, legally prescribed entrance examinations and marks obtained in the qualifying examination dictate the admission criteria for the D.El.Ed programme.
