The college is located in a limited area of 1 acre and offers only two programmes in education, having a total intake capacity of 97 students. The faculty strength of the institute is 7 skilled teachers, including dedicated educators for every student. Jai Ganesh College of Education offers two full-time courses: a Bachelors in Education (B.ED) and a Diploma for Elementary Education (D.El.ED), respectively. Total intake capacity of the B.Ed. programme is 100 seats The intake capacity of D.El.Ed. programme are not given. It is important to state that both courses are 2-year programmes, which prepare students for the teaching process as well as for using various methodologies and educational theories. The two core programmes that are highlighted in this College make it possible to offer specialised training in teacher education for students who will be joining the job market in different capacities within the educational sector. 

Being affiliated with CRS University, the admission process at Jai Ganesh College of Education involves marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college operates under the guidelines provided in the state government of Maharashtra as well as the governing university. For B.Ed., admission is given to the candidates according to their performance in the qualifying examination, their performance in the entrance test, or any other mode predetermined by the state government and the university norms.
