Jai Ganesh Educational Foundations Jai Ganesh College of Education Jai Ganesh College of Education, started in the year 2008, is one of the premier B.Ed institution of Pune, Maharashtra. This is a co-educational institution which is an affiliated college recognized by National Council for Teacher Education-NCTE. The college is located in a limited area of 1 acre and offers only two programs in education having a total intake capacity of 97 students. The faculty strength of the institute is 7 skilled teachers including dedicated educators for every student. Jai Ganesh College of Education being a teacher education institution allows prospective teachers to acquire fundamental As well as professional training while studying B. Ed and D. El. Ed courses to become successful teachers. This college aspires to deliver student-friendly environment and has well-equipped infrastructures.

The campus has spacious lighted and ventilated classrooms to accommodate up to 60 students per class to ease on learning. Library is the focal point or landmark in the institution in that there is spacious hall containing an enormous reading section. It has books as references, curriculum books, references encyclopaedas, text books, novels, national and international journals, newspapers maps etc with a stock of 2363 books. For a practical approach on their learning the college has functional laboratories that support all these courses. Advanced computer laboratory, complimented with sixty printers and internet connection aids OSX’s in developing their technological features. College also has large hall with 1,500 sitting capacity and LCD projector and inbuilt stereo system, use for seminars and event etc. 

Jai Ganesh College of Education offers two full-time courses: a Bachelors in Education (B.ED) and Diploma for Elementary Education (D.El.ED) respectively. Total intake capacity of the B.Ed program is 100 seats The intake capacity of D.El.Ed program are not given. It is important to state that both courses are 2-year programs, which prepare students for the teaching process as well as for using various methodologies and educational theories. The two core programmes that are highlighted in this College make it possible to offer specialised training in teacher education for students who will be joining the job market in different capacities within the educational sector. 

Being affiliated to CRS University the admission process of Jai Ganesh College of Education involves marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college operates under the guidelines provided in the state government of Maharashtra as well as the governing university. For B.Ed the admission is given to the candidates according to their: performance in the qualifying examination, their performance in the entrance test or any other mode predetermined by the state government and the university norms. Likewise, for D.El.Ed admission is provided according to merit for the qualifying examination/marks in the entrance test as per policies of state govt or UT administration.
