Jain AGM Institute of Technology, Jamkhandi (JAGMIT) therefore is an institute young in terms of attainment of educational status with a founding year of 2014. This affiliated college is situated in Jamkhandi, Karnataka and has carve a space for itself in the wide domain of engineering education in the country. The BE programmes of total student intake of 170 are provided by the institute in three specialisations. The institute provides three full-time BE programmes which takes four years for each course. Such programmes are BE Civil Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering and BE Electronics & Communication Engineering. The total students that are offered for all the courses are one hundred and seventy. The admission procedure at Jain AGM Institute of Technology is mainly affiliated with the KCET – Karnataka Common Entrance Test. For UG admissions, candidates have to take the KCET, the chief entrance test for the admission to engineering colleges in Karnataka. The institute has centralised admission policy where admissions are conducted based on the norms mentioned in the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) norms. Students are encouraged to monitor the KCET examination dates followed by counseling dates by the KEA. JAGMIT is a young institute which develops its standing in the sphere of engineering education.
