Jain AGM Institute of Technology, Jamkhandi is a young promising engineering institute which was established in the year 2014. It is situated in Jamkhandi, Karnataka. The undergraduate course at JAGMIT has, as the prime entry, KCET - a state-level common entrance test. Every year, several colleges in Karnataka host this test and admit students from various colleges offering engineering programs there. B. Tech/ BE: JAGMIT offers three BE programs- Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Admission for all of them is common and strictly through performance in KCET. In all these courses, the intake capacity is 170 seats. To be eligible, candidates need to have a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects and qualify KCET.
