Jain AGM Institute of Technology, Jamkhandi is a young promising engineering institute which was established in the year 2014. It is situated in Jamkhandi, Karnataka. The undergraduate course at JAGMIT has, as the prime entry, KCET - a state-level common entrance test. Every year, several colleges in Karnataka host this test and admit students from various colleges offering engineering programs there. Therefore, to seek an admission seat for undergraduate studies, students are obligated to take and pass the test.

Application Process
This is how to get admitted into Jain AGM Institute of Technology, Jamkhandi:
1. KCET Registration : Register for KCET through the official website of KEA. Fill in the application form, upload all the required documents, and pay the application fee.
2. KCET Examination : Appear for the KCET scheduled date at the allotted exam center.
3. KCET Result : Check your KCET result and rank when declared by KEA.
4. Document Verification: Once you have made it, then be in the document verification that is scheduled to be conducted by KEA. Carry original documents along with photocopies.
5. Choice Filling: In this counseling process, which happens through online. Choose your preferred colleges and courses, and JAGMIT BE courses also.
6. Seat Allotment All the seat allotments will be based upon the rank of KCET in which you scored, colleges and courses. When you get alloted to any seats at JAGMIT move forward further.
7. Payment of Fee Pay fees as per your allocated seats through the portal of KEA within a timeframe to keep sitting on the particular seat.
8. Reporting to College: Once the seat is allocated, report to JAGMIT with all original documents and fee payment receipts for final admission formalities.
JAGMIT primarily follows the ranking process of a student in KCET. Students get admission in various BE courses available at the Institute as per the KEA merit list from KCET score.
Degree-wise Admission Procedure
B. Tech/ BE: JAGMIT offers three BE programs- Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Admission for all of them is common and strictly through performance in KCET. In all these courses, the intake capacity is 170 seats. To be eligible, candidates need to have a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects and qualify KCET.
