Jain College of Education was founded in 2015, located in Shamli, which is in Uttar Pradesh, India, and it is a college of teacher education for both male and female. NCTE affiliated. This affiliated college offers undergraduate programmes for students with different academic specialisations. Located at Muzaffarnagar Road Banat just beside the Surajmal Public School, this college ensures that the environment of the learning institution is befitting. Though the exact numbers of enrolment and faculty members are missing, Jain College of Education aims at offering quality education in four degrees, which include conventional academics and prospects of being a teacher.

These are a Bachelor of Arts (BA), a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The D.El.Ed. programme, which is specifically launched for the teachers in making, has an approved intake capacity of 50 students that clearly define the college commitment for teachers. Though the college does not account for specific student intake for all types of courses, the existence of different courses shows that the college aims to solve different educational requirements. The institution aims at offering full-time, regular programmes and courses so that students get all-round education in their course of study.

The admission process at Jain College of Education differs with the course type. For the D.El.Ed. programme, the policy is that they take students based on merit by the marks that they obtained in their qualifying examination or entrance examination as per UP government norms. The college may even carry out its own screening for this program for example, a written test and/or interview.
