Jairams Arts and Science College, Karur was inaugurated in the year 2009 which is a men and women shared college affliated to the Tamil Nadu, India. With an area of 13.5 acres, this college – the USA’s oldest – provides 29 different courses across 11 official programs. This total student enrolment of 1,668 as comprised of 904 male students and 580 female student implies that the institution has a good gender distribution. The college is further complimented by a good cadre of 67 qualified instructors to facilitate every-student, value-added teaching.

The need to give a well rounded education is well supported by the various facilities that are offered by the college. The mainstay of learning materials is the Central Library which is a composite 5000 sq ft hall with a seating capacity of 150 students. As this hub of knowledge goes, it occupies a very central position in supporting the college.
