Jalangi B.Ed. College, established in 2007, is affiliated and located in Murshidabad, West Bengal. This institution is a co-educational one. It got approval from the National Council for Teacher Education. This college is situated on a compact 0.88-acre campus, offering two specialized courses in education with a total student enrolment of 400. With a faculty strength of 34 dedicated educators, Jalangi B.Ed. College maintains an appropriate student-to-teacher ratio that will ensure aspiring educators are provided with a conducive learning atmosphere.

It has quite a number of facilities to improve the educational experience of the students. The admission procedure to Jalangi B.Ed. College is merit-based. The marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examinations to respective programs are taken into consideration. In the case of a B.Ed. course, admission is done in accordance with policies laid down by the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university. Similarly, guidelines have been framed for the admission in the D.El.Ed course by the state government. This would prove to be fair to one and all besides providing a standardized mode of selection.
