Jalpaiguri Government Medical College at Jalpaiguri is one of the new generation medical colleges in West Bengal, India founded in the year 2022. This is a government College and was established in Jalpaiguri to impart excellent medical education. The college is bonded with the state university and is duly recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India hence follows the standard regulation of the country in imparting of education. In its nature, being a co-educational institution, it admits students irrespective of their sex producing a diverse student population.

The college has got facilities that are essential in seeing the students through their college education needs. The college has an intake capacity of 100 students for its MBBS course, which shows that the college every year produces a good number of doctors for the country.
