Hello Aspirant...

Your chances of getting into JBIMS are good, but I cannot guarantee that you will be accepted because the last year's MAH-CET cut-off for JBIMS was 99.49 percentile, which could go up or down, and while you are close to the last year's cut-off, we can't be certain.

However, because of your high percentile, you have a good chance of getting into other top business schools, such as:

  • Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai
  • N.L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai
  • S.I.E.S. College of Management Studies, Mumbai
  • Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), University of Pune
  • Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE), Mumbai (both MMS & PGDM programme)
  • K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research (KJSIMSR), Mumbai

Hello,

The percentage of commerce students in IIMs is 18%. The ratio was 23% in 2018,21 percent in 2019 for Commerce students.

All other colleges also have the almost same ratio. But it is true that whether you are from a commerce, science or art background at the end you'll be tested based on your skills and your performance in the entrance exam.

Hope this will help, All the best!!

Good luck

You do have a great number of students having an average academic record in the above Top Management Institutes as well as at IIMs. Some even have a Poor Graduation Score, but again they have the qualities and communication skills to impress at an interview and perform brilliantly in CAT, XAT, NMAT and other Top MBA Entrance Examinations, to overweigh their Poor Past Academic Record.

I personally know one of my seniors at college, having around 80-90% in 10/12 and a 7 CGPA in Graduation, ended up with 99.91 in CAT and Cracked IIML and a couple of more Good IIMs.

College Infrastructure

I like my college. I don't face any infrastructure-related issues. It is one of the best campuses for MBA. Sports facilities are available, so students enjoy a lot with it. A lot of games and sports activities are conducted in the college.

Perfect and best college to study MBA

College Infrastructure

The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus.

Nice College to study and enjoy and faculty is good

College Infrastructure

BIMS is 50 years old, so the infrastructure has not been renovated as per standards. But surely you will like the vintage architecture. Classrooms and library are well equipped with air-conditioners and digital boards. We do not have hostel on campuses,
