Hello Aspirant,
Yes it is right JBIMS has stopped taking students from outside maharashtra they has replaced it with NRI quota ( if in your family any of your member is NRI than you are eligible for NRI quota).
So, if you are an OMS student than you're only chance for getting JBIMS MMS seat is by NRI QUOTA.
I hope the above information is beneficial for you.
All the best.
Hi Akash,
Since September 2, 2019 ruling, Supreme court of India has restored the autonomous status of JBIMS. Thus some changes has been done in the seats allocation as the no. of seats are reduced from 120 to 102 for mahrashtra candidates but the no. of seats available for all India candidates is still 18. The expected cutoff score to get into JBIMS for all India open category seat is around 150-155.
Hello dear student,
You cannot take admission in the colleges who ask for cat results to give admission for MBA . as these are very less percentile and these are not even valid to give admission to get admission in MBA . It equally means like not qualified. While you can search for the colleges who do not ask for the cat marks. And you can take admission in those MBA colleges
Best wishes
In 2019,there were 325 MBA colleges who accepted MAH CET 2019 scores for MBA/MMS admission. Some of the colleges include JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya, Dy Patil, N L Dalmia. So you can get an admission into those mentioned institutes by you through your MHT CET scores. All these colleges also accept the CMAT scores for admission process. All the best!!
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies ( JBIMS ) is now accepting the score of both ATMA and MAT scores for admission to their MMS programme. They also accept valid score of at least one examination, namely: MAH CET/CAT/CMAT/XAT.
Hope this information helps you.
Wishing you a good luck !
Hi there,
Convocation ceremony is conducted in most of the collages.From.my research Jbims also has convocation certificate for every student, but I didn't find a ceremony conducted for the same.
Convocation ceromony is ually cinducted in collages after 1 year or graduation or 6 months.
Collage official website will provide more information.
Hope this will help you.
Thank you
Hello
To apply for jBIMS,SIMSREE you need to have CAT/CMAT/MH CET marks XAT is not accepted. In order to apply via cat score f ill the online application form by entering the required academic and professional details through the official DTE Maharashtra website. After successful submission of application form, candidates will be eligible to appear in the CAP rounds to be conducted by DTE Maharastra .However CAT cutoff are generally 99+.
Hello
You do not have to separately register for JBIMS.The institute has a defined cutoff basis which the students are streamlined before calling them for the JBIMS selection process.. In order to qualify the phase one of the selection processes, you must secure the minimum cutoff in either of the two exams mentioned above.
You can expect the cut off to be 99.5 percentile.
Good luck
I like my college. I don't face any infrastructure-related issues. It is one of the best campuses for MBA. Sports facilities are available, so students enjoy a lot with it. A lot of games and sports activities are conducted in the college.
The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus.
BIMS is 50 years old, so the infrastructure has not been renovated as per standards. But surely you will like the vintage architecture. Classrooms and library are well equipped with air-conditioners and digital boards. We do not have hostel on campuses,
