Jangaon Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences or JIPS was set up in 2004 at Yeshwanthapur, Warangal, Telangana. This co-educational institute situated at 8 acres of land is specialising in the field of pharmaceutical science. JIPS is one of the affiliated college recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) which gives standard education in the streams of pharmacy. Having total enrolment capacity of 159students and faculty strength of 26, it provides a small batch size conducive environment required for learning for the-pharmacists.
The institute also has several state of the art facilities that accommodate the programmes offered in the school. The reading room is well stocked and is the epicentre of pharmaceutical information and all the research conducted by learning institute. Modern chemical laboratories provide practical training in many aspects of pharmaceutical sciences so the students can practice what they learn in theoretical classes. The cafeteria also in JIPS is an additional segment to ensure students have a place to chat and get relaxed. Education technology sponsorship guarantees learners remain connected with sufficient resources for learning throughout college. For the sport freaks in the campus, the institute provides facilities to keep balancing the work and play atmosphere. Currently, JIPS provides all types of pharmaceutical courses at under graduate and post graduate levels. The institute currently provides three full-time courses. A bachelors degree programme and two masters degree programmes. The course offers Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) having an intake capacity of sixty students for four years. At the postgraduate level, JIPS offers two specialised M.Pharma programs. Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics, intakes of 15 students and a duration of two years for each program.

The admission procedure of Jangaon Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is merit based and very much organised. In the case of B.Pharma program they offer admissions mainly through the Sylencer of Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). The students, who want to pursue M.Pharma may get admission in TS PGECET or GPAT. These entrance exams help to make sure that right candidates that possess the right aptitude and also the right kind of knowledge base for the programs are selected.
