Jawahar Arts Science and Commerce College, Osmanabad, is a co-educational institution which is located in Anadur, Maharashtra Established in 1991. This affiliated college NAAC approved provide a wide specialization of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the faculties of arts, science and commerce. The college is spread over a total area of 13.02 acres and has a total student enrolment of 586 and total faculty strength of 39 members only. This college offers 6 courses and 5 degrees and is specially focusing on providing quality education in different fields of study to bachelor students. 

Jawahar Arts Science and Commerce College is consistent in its goal to offer learning atmosphere, enriched by facilities that will guide and shape the students. The library as viewed by many as the golden focal point of the college has the responsibility of providing advanced and more specific knowledge to the students. It also becomes a scholar’s working place to help the students to achieve efficiency and proficiency in as many facets of human endeavour as possible. It also has adequately equipped laboratories conducive for practical lessons more especially for science inclined students. It has adopted good information technology as part and parcel for membership for abreast for the appropriate stream for their studies. 

Apart from the academic advancement, Jawahar Arts Science and Commerce College laying equal importance on the grooming of all round personality of the students. The institution has a well equipped sports facilities to ensure that the students develop on their bodies and also on teamwork.  For the convenience of students in their academic performance, the college offers hostels for both boys and girls thus accommodating anyone from the various region who may wish to study at the college. In addition, the college has a vibrant alumni association that works well in developing a good network which may in one way or the other help the existing students in matters concerning training and placement.

Jawahar Arts Science and Commerce College has 6 courses in their plethora and all the provided courses are full time. These are three undergraduate programmes namely; B.A, B.Com, B.Sc and three postgraduate programmes namely M.Com, MSc Chemistry, MSc Physics. The college has a total approved intake of 586 students for all the courses offered thus given adequate chances to all the eager students.

Admission of new and fresh students in Jawahar Arts Science and Commerce College has been made very easy and understandable. The details of admission procedure are not revealed but it may be presumed that, like many other affiliated colleges of Maharashtra, the college must have adopted merit based admission system. Admission to the college is open for several courses offered at the college, some of these are undergraduate courses: B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, etc while post graduate: M.Com, M.Sc (Chemistry), M.Sc (Physics).
