"Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad is an artistic hub of talent. Founded in 1940, the institution has been the constituent college located in Masab Tank, Hyderabad, Telangana. Spread over 4.32 acres, the campus is the perfect place for creativity to bloom. Along with 22 faculty members, JNAFAU CFA offers courses in 9 disciplines based on 2 degree levels.

For those who would like to continue further, the college provides MFA courses in Painting, Applied Arts, Photography, and Sculpture.

The college admits undergraduate (BFA) and postgraduate (MFA) students every year. Degree wise Admission Process

BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts): JNAFAU CFA provides BFA courses in Sculpture, Animation, Applied Arts, Painting and Visual Communication, and Photography. Admission to all BFA courses is done through an entrance test. The college provides an adjustable intake capacity for different BFA courses:

  • BFA Applied Arts: 35
  • BFA Photography: 30
  • BFA Painting: 20
  • BFA Sculpture: 10

MFA (Master of Fine Arts): MFA Painting, Applied Arts, Photography, and Sculpture courses are provided by the college. Entrance test is also the basis for admission to MFA courses. Seats in MFA courses are allocated as follows:

  • MFA Applied Arts: 25
  • MFA Painting: 15
  • MFA Photography: 20
  • MFA Sculpture: 20
