Hi Aspirant,
The Admission process in JNAFAU (Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University is done via two exams - NATA/JEE Mains. The minimum score to get admission in this university is 140 In NATA exam from previous year cut off. For Merit score your Percentage marks of 12+ is required too. Basically the merit score is combination of your marks in NATA and percentage marks in 12+ divided by 2.
As you scored 72 marks in NATA exam and 94 percentage in Class 12, The merit score goes like ,
72/2+94 = 130 .
The minimum Qualifying marks are 70/200, You have just qualified for NATA exam.
I suggest you to apply for phase two exam. As NATA is conducted twice a year. So prepare well and get 140+ score next time, To get admission in JNAFAU. Hope this information helps you. All the best for your career.
Thanks & Good luck!..
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well
You haven't mention your 12th score. To get seat in JNAFAU, you need to score 80 percent marks in 12th and 140+ marks in NATA. At this score, it is quite different to get seat in JNAFAU. To get seat in JNAFAU your both NATA and 12th Score will be considered . 50% of the NATA Score + 50% of Class 12 percentage
If your 12th Board percentage is 90 and your NATA score is 150.
Then,
150/2 =75 (NATA score divided by 2)
75+90 = 165
165/2 = 82.5
Hence, 82.5 is your Final Merit score
To get seat in JNAFAU you need to score atleast 140 marks.
I hope this information will help you.
Feel free to ask any query.
All the best for your bright future ahead.

Hello,
Yes, 85% seats are reserved for local candidates and 15% seats are reserved for non-local candidates so you get seat in JNAFAU in regular mode but it depends on the course you want to seek admission you have to appear in the entrance examination which is required to get admission in the course you are interested and qualify in the entrance examination.
Hello aspirant,
You got 119.5 marks in nata & 95% in 10+2 exam.
Now, look,
One should be with 155+ marks, to get government seat
One should be with around 130-155, to get a good private seat
One should be with around 110-130, to get a private seat
So, with 119.5 marks you have good chances in private ones. You may get govt seat also.
All the best!!

Hello!
The overall ratings for Andhra University is better than JNAFAU School of planning and architecture. Andhra University was established before JNAFAU. From placement perspective JNAFAU offers better placement, though it is not having consistent placement records. Literally there are no placements for architecture field in Andhra University. From faculty, infrastructure, value for money perspective Andhra University is better than JNAFAU. Choose wisely, ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
Thank You
