Jaya School of Architecture which commenced in the academic year 2016-2017 is situated in Thiruvallur is a specialised Institution in the field of Architecture. This institute in a comparatively new institute located in Poonamalle, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, but has carved a niche for its self in the world of architecture. The campus is set on a 5.7 acre land to offer suitable learning environment for architecture students. With a total student enrolment of 18 and an equal number of faculty members, the school maintains an impressive 1:Scale of 1 student for each faculty member thus guaranteeing student-faculty interaction and quality education.

Jaya School of Architecture has some outstanding features aimed at increasing students’ learning environment factors. This campus comprises different hostels for male and female students where students who prefer to live in the hostel can comfortably do so. As a vital scholar work and a primary research collection containing more than one thousand five hundred books, the library broadcasts monthly issues with a large reading hall. As for the practical learning, the school has access to departmental well equipped laboratories. There is only one programme offered at Jaya School of Architecture and that is the Bachelor of Architecture programme. This is a full-time five-year course approved for admitting thirty students per year. The B.Arch course is planned in such a way that it will enable one to have broad understanding of architectural design, architectural theories and practice.

Jaya School of Architecture follows a selective process when it comes to the admission process. Apart from having clearly passed the 10+2 exam, the student has to qualify either the NATA or the JEE Main. These exams aim at measuring the candidates’ ability when it comes to architecture, drawing skills as well as overall knowledge.
