Jayamukhi College of Education in Narsampet, Warangal – It was recognised in the year 2003 and is an affiliated college of Osmanaiah University. The education in the institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which envisages quality teaching in the country. It is located in a 5 acre land hence the college provides a good study environment. The total number of students the institute takes in a year is 990, while the faculty compositions are 80, which make it easy for the students to be attended to and taught effectively.

Jayamukhi College of Education has a variety of amenities to improve the learning environment that is; There is a comfortable library that stores 3849 books, of which 540 are reference books; there are 21 educational journals and 3 encyclopedias; there is a reading room for 50 students. It has a separate hostel for boys and girls to accommodate outstation students since it is an institute of architecture. Other facilities include practical demonstration room, an auditorium for organising formal business meetings, conferences and seminars, dining hall, a dispensary unit for administering first aid and medical care, and a well equipped gym and a playground. The college also continues to have good IT facilities to enhance the current teaching techniques.

At present this Jayamukhi College of Education provides a solitary course namely Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). This is a two year full – time programme which has a qualified enrolment capacity of fifty students. The D.El.Ed course aims to produce professional educator at the Elementary education level of schooling namely at Primary and secondly Upper Primary level.

As with most affiliated colleges, Jayamukhi College of Education determines any student’s admission on the basis of the number of marks the student obtained in the specific examination or the admission test. In matters concerning admissions and enrolment the college conforms to the admission policy of the state government of Telangana/UT Administration.
