JBM College of Education, Jind: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

JBM College of Education, Jind was established in the year 2007 as an affiliated college in Shadipur, Julana, Jind, Haryana. This institute has been approved by NCTE with four types of specialized education. The campus is compactly spread over 0.09653 acres with the aim of developing future teachers. With a faculty strength of 17, JBM College of Education provides a focused learning environment to aspiring teachers. Courses offered here include B.Ed, D.El.Ed, BA B.Ed., and B.Sc B.Ed., catering to various educational aspirations in the field of teaching.  

It has a host of facilities toward providing an enhancing learning experience for students. The library is appropriately termed the hub of the school. It is well-stocked with books, dictionaries, periodicals, journals, and multimedia. It works on flexible timing and allows sufficient time for students and staff to research and study. The laboratories in the college are fully equipped with the latest devices and experimental kits to allow hands-on experience. The computer lab, which has 25 personal computers and a powerful server, provides adequate opportunity to the students for working on projects, research, and practice of workplace applications in software. A language laboratory concentrates on improving the students' communication skills in Sanskrit, Hindi, and English. 

JBM College of Education runs a total of four full-time courses, all relating to teacher education. The student intake of the institute combines to be 250 across its programs. All these courses are oriented towards preparing students for an array of responsibilities in the education sector, beginning from the primary to the secondary level of teaching. 

In JBM College of Education, admission is primarily online. The B.Ed. programme admission happens through an Entrance Test conducted by the affiliated university. The college also has a management quota of 15% seats, which are filled on the basis of marks obtained at Bachelor's or Master's degree in accordance with the policy of the university. Other courses, like D.El.Ed, BA B.Ed, and B.Sc B.Ed, are based on merit, which is determined by the marks obtained at the qualifying examination conducted by the University or Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
