JES College of Education, Bilaspur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

JES College of Education, Bilaspur, was established in the year 2011 as a constituent college. The Bilaspur-based college in Chhattisgarh is affiliated with a university. NCTE-approved, the institute offers courses related to teacher education. The campus sprawls over 4.65 acres, and JES College of Education offers two full-time courses with a total enrolment capacity of 343 students. The faculty strength of the college is 28, which maintains a good student-faculty ratio. 

Being a co-educational institution, it provides equal opportunity to both boys and girls for making careers in the teaching profession. The facilities provided for the students by the college are of different types to help them in their academic and personal development. With books, reference books, journals, and newspapers, the atmosphere is well-stacked, providing an ambience that can help a person study or research. For physical development, JES College of Education offers indoor and outdoor sports facilities. It has badminton courts, table tennis, chess, and carrom as indoor games, and various outdoor athletic events. The campus is fully equipped with modern IT infrastructure, which enables students to acquaint themselves with the latest technology in their studies.

At present, JES College of Education offers two full-time courses. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Both the programmes shall turn the students into teaching and education professionals. The approved intake capacity for its D.El.Ed. course is 100 students and there is no approved intake capacity for its B.Ed. course. 

Admission to the programme in JES College of Education shall be made on the basis of merit in accordance with rules framed by the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university. Admission to the B.Ed course shall be based on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination.
