Jeypore School of Engineering and Technology (JSET) was set at the year of 2007 in Jeypore city, Odisha, it is very famous institute. This affiliated college which has got the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducted the following diploma programmes in the engineering disciplines. JSET is located on a vast piece of land of area 10.37 acres, which is suitable for technical college. The institute has a student intake of 615 and a faculty population of 26 which result in proper guidance and quality education. JSET has five diploma courses with specializations that prepare students with practical and theoretical skills for their respective courses.

The Jeypore School of Engineering and Technology  has listed down various facilities which supports the learning process of the students and their development. To facilitate the out-station students, JSET have the separate facilities of the hostel for boys and girls with quality infrastructure. The modern equipped library with using of knowledge is also functioning as a centre of information providing with a wide range of books. As a result of changing technology, the college has available and functional IT equipment, newly equipped laboratories for every department. Since the welfare of its community is of paramount important to JSET, the school has a health centre with first aid. It also has a cafeteria, sports ground/baseball and volleyball pitches, and gym among others to help the student to lead a balanced lifestyle. As well, the college provides transport facilities and there is a provision of a large parking space for students and employees.

The JSET provides a total of 4 full- time diploma courses of three years each in total. These courses are offered based on the different disciplines of engineering, and therefore open up a host of choices to its students. This institute has a total approved intake of 270 students for all courses of study offered by the institute. The diploma courses that are available are Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Each course is intended to give the students an overall sense of the discipline in which they are interested and to help students apply knowledge practically.

The details of the admission are however not specified, but normally diploma programs accept students based on their results in the relevant qualifying exams.
